Risk Management
Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Southeast Wisconsin Council, BSA Risk Management
Committee to support the Council's mission (of providing an educational program
for boys and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities
of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness) by providing a
framework of Policies, Procedures, and Recommendations for implementation that
will result in the delivery of all Council Programs and Services in a safe and
healthy environment for all participants.

Life is full of risks. Each of
us, each day, encounters some element of risk in every
activity we undertake. The Eagle Scout required Personal
Management Merit Badge discusses 5 ways to reduce risk in
our lives; avoid it, reduce it, retain it, transfer it, or
share it. At the Southeast Wisconsin Council, a Risk
Management / Health and Safety Committee has been formed
with the goal of reducing risk to our Council and
participants in our Council's programs |
